City Hosts Public Meeting on Fluoride

The community conference room at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital downtown location on Gould Street was the site of a public meeting hosted by the City of Sheridan Thursday night on the topic of fluoridation of the City’s water supply.

Buffalo Council Denies Request For Sewer Rate Restructure

The Buffalo City Council has opted to not grant a request from a local business owner wanting the city to restructure their sewer rates, or to designate his car wash as a “green business” and allow him a lower sewer rate, if they were not willing or able to currently re-structure the rates in general.

Sheridan Under Flood Advisory

The National Weather Service in Billings has issued a small stream flood advisory for areas in Montana and Wyoming including western Sheridan County.

Eaton’s Horse Drive at the Sheridan County Museum

The Annual Eaton’s Horse Drive will take place this Sunday on Sheridan’s 5th Street. According to Sheridan County Museum Director John Woodward, the Museum’s porch will be the venue to be at for the event.

Stolen Cheyenne Vehicle Recovered By Sheriff’s Office

On Thursday, Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office recovered a vehicle that was stolen from Cheyenne. Lt. Allen Thompson said that there were 3 individuals involved in the situation.

Sheridan County will apply for funding through the Wyoming Federal Lands Access Program, or FLAP, to help fund the proposed Red Grade Road project.

Johnson County Commissioners Get First Look At Budget

Johnson County Clerk Vicki Edelman presented the commissioners with her draft budget during their Tuesday meeting, and the commissioners will now begin discussions and meetings to make adjustments to the budget before it is finalized in July.
