City, County Discuss Memorandum of Understanding

Prior to their regularly scheduled meeting Monday night, the Sheridan City Council sat down with the Sheridan County Commissioners to discuss a memorandum of understanding pertaining to annexation of county land and roads into the City.

The Sheridan City Council at their April 7 meeting appointed Jesus Rios to fill the unexpired term of Levi Dominguez, who resigned from the Council in January. Monday night, Judge Jon Botten made it official, as Rios was sworn in as a member of the City Council.

New Museum Director Announced

Wyoming native John Woodward has been hired as the new Sheridan County Museum director. He will start working at the museum later this month – in time for the opening of the new 2014 exhibit, “Playing Through: Sports and Recreation on Sheridan County.
