Hatchery Fire Update

The Hatchery fire is located about 7 miles east of Tensleep. This has closed the portion of U.S. Highway 16 between Buffalo and Tensleep. The cause of the fire is still unknown.

A fire about 10 miles east of Tensleep has closed a portion of U.S. Highway 16. The closed portion begins West of Buffalo and ends in Tensleep. The cause of the fire is still unknown.

Eagles #186 Donates Funds to Senior Center Meals Program

The Sheridan Senior Center’s home delivered meals program received a donation in the amount of $750 from the Sheridan Eagles #186. President Joe Marshall said it’s always good to give to such an important program that serves so many within the community.

The Sheridan WYO Rodeo once again set an attendance record this year with 26,508 tickets sold, which was significantly more than the number of tickets sold last year. WYO Rodeo Board President Nick Siddle said this year’s rodeo was a tremendous success.

Brinton Museum Exhibition Featured in National Publication

Clyde Aspevig of Rudyard, Montana is a famed landscape painter, whose exhibition entitled “Landscape and Beyond” is currently on display at the Brinton Museum in Big Horn. The exhibit, and the museum were recently featured in the June issue of Southwest Art magazine.
