The early evening wind storm that blew through Sheridan more than a week ago, downed a couple of century-old fur trees and topped off another at the Kendrick Mansion historic site in Sheridan.

Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey jumped to offer immediate help to Sheridan County Attorney Matt Redle Wednesday morning after hearing about the fire at the attorney’s office, because of his official position and because they’ve known each other since they were children.

We’re now learning that about 15,000 different types of narcotics pills were taken in last week’s burglary of the Hospital Pharmacy in downtown Sheridan. The update’s coming from Sheridan Police Chief Rich Adriaens.

Competitors from around Wyoming and neighboring states will test their street basketball skills Saturday and Sunday at the 14 annual Hoop Jam 3-on-3 basketball tournament in Sheridan.

The Kearney Community Hall, located in the town of Story in Sheridan County off the Piney Creek Exit, may be used once again after a 25-year hiatus, if the Kearney Hall Board has its way.
