The fish are biting, right now. Anglers are catching two pound trout in Lake DeSmet, 4-5 pound tiger muskies at Healy Reservoir, and northern pike from Keyhole Reservoir, which is the only body of water in the state that has the species.

Buffalo Wyoming has recently been named No. 4 on a list for the the Top Ten True Western Towns of 2014 in True West Magazine.

The list recognizes towns that have kept their historic “Old West” heritage alive through historic preservation. Last year, Kaycee made No. 9 on the list.
