Hard Loss For JV Girls Soccer

This last Friday April 8th the JV girls soccer team competed against Laramie. The weather was cold with blowing wind and it was sprinkling rain, but that didn't stop the girls from playing hard. It is decision time as Fairgrounds Manager Melissa Albrecht stands in the muddy arena Monday morning watching as a tractor turns over the "wet soil" wondering if the Shriners Circus will be a go in this location later today. A check at noon indicated that the Circus is a "go" at 4:30 and 7:30 pm even though more rain is in the forecast.

Sheridan Fire-Rescue conducted roof ventilation training

Sheridan Fire-Rescue conducted roof ventilation training at the former Big Horn Motors building at 5th and Main Streets Tuesday. Firefighters have been conducting various training evolutions since last week, including interior victim searches, firefighter self-rescue, and wall breeches. The training was made possible by building owner Dave Sorensen.
