Sheridan's Payton Brilz Churns Up the Water

Sheridan sophomore Payton Brilz churned up the water at the Sheridan Invite on Saturday taking 7th in the 200 Freestyle, 5th in the 100 Freestyle and 4th with her teammates in the 100 & 400 Relays.

In 7th Grade Football Action the Indians outscore the Broncs

On a quarterback keeper with 25-seconds to go in the 1st half Sheridan's Sandis Cook runs into the end zone for the 7th Grade Broncs only score against the Lodge Grass Indians at Byron Chamberlain Field on Saturday morning.

Sheridan rolls over Rock Springs 28 to 0

On the first play from scrimmage Nate Kane takes the hand off from Kevin Bakkehaug and runs around the left side, in front of a near capacity home crowd, for 76-yards into the end zone to give the Broncs 6-points just 24-seconds into the game Friday evening against the Rock Springs Tigers.

Show off your Colors Tonight

Reata Brannaman and Pet are showing off the National Colors - show off yours tonight by wearing pink at the football game between the Sheridan Broncs and the Rock Springs Tigers. Kickoff is at 7:00 pm on Scott Field in Sheridan.

Seen the New Fall Color(s) - PINK?

Fall started at 3:04 am Friday in Sheridan and the fall color is definitely "Pink" - at least at Sheridan High School. The "Broncs are all in Pink" tee-shirts are all sold out, as evidenced by the photo, for the 2nd Annual Pink Bronc Day of September 23rd. All funds raised support the Welch Cancer Center as the check for $2,015.00 indicates.

Former U.S. Senator Malcolm Wallop Laid to Rest

Under a beautiful blue Wyoming sky and with full military honors U. S. Senator Malcolm Wallop was laid to rest with his beloved Big Horn Mountains as a back drop. Funeral services were held Thursday morning in St. Peter's Episcopal Church filled with family, friends and government officials who honored the late senator's life.

It's "Toot and Shoot" aka the drive-thru flu clinic for veterans at the Sheridan Veterans Administration on the grounds of historic Fort Mackenzie. Once you arrive at Ft. Mackenzie just follow the signs like Frank Mills did to get his shot from Tammy Carlson who was armed with a needle and his sweet tooth reward from Joni Lyons who came bearing a chocolate lovers treat.
