Progress is moving along well for two projects at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds. Despite the winter weather, upgrades to the Exhibit Hall and the Water Supply Improvement Project are both on schedule and within budget.
A problem with a sewer line on Swift Street in north Buffalo has prompted residents there to look into whether the line is privately owned or owned by the city, to determine who is ultimately responsible for repairs and maintenance.
Sheridan Fire-Rescue, Goose Valley Fire Department, and Rocky Mountain Ambulance responded to a report of an unknown fire in the 1900 Block of Bowman Avenue a little after 3 am this morning. No injuries reported and the fire is under investigation.
Mike Johnson and Councilman Wes Haskins were sworn as newly-elected officials who won their seats in the November election.
Councilman Russ Humphrey was also sworn, having retained his seat on the council during the election.
